Read this book last night. Very believeable, easy to stay connected to the characters and plot. Liked it like a duck likes water.

The main setting of Bootcamp is a bootcamp out in the middle of nowhere, called Lake Harmony, where people (mostly teens) who disobey their parents go to get straightened out until they admit what they did wrong and that they regret it sincerely. The setting seems like it is the same throughout most of the story.

The setting of this story takes place at a camp sort of like a boot camp where teenagers are whipped in to shape to be more respectful to their parents. The book really doesn’t say exactly where the camp is located and the main character has no idea since he has been kidnapped and forced to go there. This will affect the plot because now he’s trying to escape from this awful place in order to get back to his girlfriend but the only way he can do is by playing by their rules or actually escaping the boot camp.

In this wonderfully worded book it starts out with our main character being abducted and brought to Lake Harmony to be straightened out. When he reaches his destination he realizes it is in the middle of a giant forest with no civilization for miles. He looks at the buildings and none of them are over two stories tall and looks like an army boot camp. Later he realizes this facility is in fact a boot camp for kids to be straightened out. This will be very important to our story because this is where everything is taking place.

In the book Bootcamp the main setting is a bootcamp called Lake Harmony. This place is for troubled teens who's parents have sent them there. The people at the camp are very tough and strict. The setting is going to be a very important part of the story because he might be there for awhile. He also admitted to the whole camp on why he was in there in the first place which takes a lot of courage. He really wants to leave the camp as soon as possible so I think he may try to plan an escape route.

The setting of Boot camp is a boot camp far out from civilization. This kid is kidnapped and brought to this camp for being disobedient. His parents set up the whole thing hoping that he will change his ways. The boy tries to act tough but they break his spirit. The men try to scare him into admitting his wrong doings. I dont think the setting will ever change until he is released from the camp. I think he will change his ways and try to be a better person.

The setting of Boot Camp takes place in a boot camp called Lake Harmony. The kid was kidnapped and taken there because his parents don't like the way hes been treating them and the things hes been doing. The setting is important in this story because its tells the reader what is happening the the kid. The kid later finds out that there is no civilization for many miles if he were to escape.

The main characters so far are Garrett, the kidnapped one, and Joe, Garrett's "father", who seems to take interest in yelling at almost everybody. Garrett is not fully aware of how things work around in the camp, but he is learning the hard way through TI, and "Circle". Garrett tries to outsmart the system, and thinks he could get out soon if he just does nothing he thinks is wrong, but Joe tries to find a way to bring out the violence in Garrett, which is the last thing Garrett needs in this camp.

The main characters in the story Bootcamp are Garret, Joe, and Sabrina. Garret is the biggest character in the story. He was sent to the bootcamp by his parents for disobeying them numerous amounts of times. He hasn’t made any friends at the camp yet either. Joe is his leader. Joe is real tough guy who is always starting trouble with Garret trying to get him in trouble. Sabrina is Garret’s girlfriend who doesn’t know he’s at the camp. She is eight years older than him. Garret hopes she will come looking for him sometime soon.

The main characters of Boot Camp are Garrett the kid who got kidnapped, and Joe the drill sergant, these two characters have a bad realationship with one another, but Garrett has to put up with Joe. Garrett has been sent to this place called TI (Temporary Isolation) twice already. He has very intense thoughts in TI.

Garrett is the main charecter in this beautifuly written book. He was kidnapped by two meany heads that didnt tell him where they were taking him. he was disobedient and was out late and slept with his teacher and now girlfriend. He wasnt all that bad of a kid but his parents just got tired of his bad attitude. joe is the mean sargent who is trying to break him. everybody hate joe but tries to impress him.

Garrett whos the main character at this time, is still in bootcamp at Lake Harmony. Based on the plot of the story, it doesnt seem that Garret wont get out of boot camp anytime soon. Joe who is claiming to be Garretts father yells at everyone. Garrett still doesnt know how things work in the camp but hes learing, and plans to outsmart the system.

I agree with mitchell because it is beautifully written and has an amazing plot. its very easy to follow also it has many exciting points. Garret went to lake harmony for his behavior and they try to change his attitube to make hie became a better person.

I am not a big fan of reading, truthfully, but this book really caught my eye, and now I can not put it down, until class is over. Joe's treatments for Garrett were very interesting, and brutal. The character descriptions put great images into my mind. I could picture everything that went on very easily. Overall, this book was amazing, and I might pick up another book from this author someday.

I have not yet finished this book but it is very addicting and I want to finish it. Garrett is progressively starting to level up and is starting to become respected by joe. Garrett has gotten away with something that he would have gotten temporary isolation for. Garrett might escape with Sarah and Pauly. He is not sure if he wants too but they are very sure they want to escape before they are hurt or even killed. Robert and his gang are still after Garrett because he had went off on Robert for something stupid and then almost got in a fight in the lunch hall.

Usually I’m a very bad reader. But I liked reading this book a lot. It was very interesting and fun to read. The ending could’ve been better I thought. When Garret saves Harry and Rebecca I thought he was going to get away but I guess not. He ended back up at Lake Harmony with Joe and his enforcers again. It got better though when Garrets mom came and picked him up from there. I wish Garret would’ve told his parents about what they did to him at Lake Harmony and not lied about it.

I'm not really a reading person but this book really entertained me alot. I will mostly likely finish this book. Garrett is becoming respected by Joe now. Garrett might escape with Sarah and Pauly, I'm not sure but i want to keep reading to find out. All i know is that the only way they can get out is if Garrett comes, but Garrett doesn't know if he wants to risk it.

The summary of this book is that a kid named Garrett is sent to camp called Lake Harmony where he is forced to learn that what he’s done over the years is wrong. He’s physically beaten by the other campers and mentally by the staff. Garrett meets a boy named Pauli and a girl named Sarah, and they all decide to escape. This book over all is really good, it has good characters such as Garrett who is smart but unfortunately has done nothing really wrong. Then you have Joe who is the antagonist in this story, he verbally abuses Garrett and gets other kids to physically abuse him since he can’t. The setting really helps the story take shape, since it mostly takes place there. Lake Harmony is a boot camp slash prison camp designed to make kids see the era of their ways. The other great thing about this book is plot; a kid trying to escape from a boot camp and leave the country to get away is pretty good.
