Twisted was a twisted book. From the beginning when a nerd is caught vandalizing his school’s property with pornographic and erotic material to the end when he is accused of a crime much worse, Twisted is both shocking yet intriguing. It is interesting to get “in the mind of a criminal” and hear what’s going through their mind. It also makes you think. We wonder if the crime really was committed the second time, or if the main character, Tyler, has convinced himself that he really didn’t do it. There are definitely times in this book that the reader gasps because of a situation Tyler is in, or wants to cry because you have such sympathy for him.
